Virtual Notarization
If we need your signature on a document, we can usually take care of it through Proof.com, a secure online notarization service. There is no cost to you—we pay the fee as a courtesy to our clients.
Here's How It Works
We'll upload your document to Proof.com.
You'll receive an email and text message with a link to get started.
Create a quick Proof.com account (it only takes a minute).
Review the document to make sure it's the one we sent you.
Verify your identity by:
Allowing location access.
Entering your driver's license information.
Answering a few security questions based on your personal history.
Scan the QR code with your phone.
Take a picture of the front and back of your driver's license.
Join a short video call with a licensed online notary.
Answer a few simple questions, then electronically sign the document.
Once you're finished, the notarized document is automatically sent to both you and our office.
What You'll Need
Your driver's license
A phone or computer with a camera and internet connection
About 15 minutes
There are also two other options if you don't want to do it online:
Come by our office and sign with our in-house notary
Use any local notary (many banks offer notary services) and send us a copy of the completed document
Whichever option you choose, we'll be happy to help make the process as easy as possible.
